Tony Palermo poses with the Tony P's Team that finished fourth in the California Restaurant Association'sTournament of Champions at Donald Trump's Trump National Course, Los Angeles: (from left) Kurt Nelson, Tal Almquist, Tony Palermo, Chris Haggen and David Barra.
Tony P's is spanning the globe to bring its diners the constant variety in food. Recently, Tony, himself, traveled to North Carolina to visit BBQ guru P.J. McCord and Wells Pork Products – a hotbed of barbecue secrets. He left with a slew of top secret recipes that he is now implementing here at Tony P's.
Tony P and tons of Dodger fans from Tony P's Dockside Grill were out at Dodger Stadium on the final day of the season to root on the Boys in Blue. Though the Dodgers fell to the Cardinals in the National League Divisional Series, Tony P's will still be Dodgers headquarters when the 2005 sea- son heats up next April! Adam Sandler, pictured at left with Tony Palermo, and the cast of comedy/drama “Spanglish” celebrated the wrap of the movie with a spectacular party at Tony P’s Tavern.
I wanted to tell you about a little fundraiser we had here for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. They put us all in “jail” and we had to call our friends to raise money for bail. Together, we raised $17,000 ... not bad for a bunch of people whose friends are never willing to pick up the tab at dinner, huh!?
I was also proud to host four American icons right here at Tony P’s (I’m the little one in the middle!). The Fearsome Foursome, perhaps the finest defensive line in the history of the NFL, joined me for a special reception to help raise funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation. I want to thank Deacon Jones, Rosey Grier, Lamar Lundy and Merlin Olsen for their continued support – these guys win the award for class!

Hard to believe they where in the back yard in May of 2004. Now big shots, Grammy winners! (Los Lonely Boys!
