CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS!
 We're happy to congratulate the big winners of Tony P's Academy Awards and Valentine's Day promotions. Barry Rubin, pictured at right with his wife, was the Valentine's Day winner of a romantic harbor cruise, a one-night stay at the Marina del Rey Marriott Hotel and, of course, two great meals at Tony P's! Terri Loiacono and Howard Flaer were the winners of Tony P's Academy Awards party promotion. The pair predicted the most winner on Oscar night and took home a $50 gift certificate. See, Tony really does give out those prizes he's always talking about! Congratulations!

DUST OFF THOSE CLUBS...
The California Restaurant Association's Los Angeles Chapter will hold its annual golf tournament on August 18 at Malibu Country Club – Southern California's bestkept golf secret. Enjoy a great tournament complete with Tony P's Mai Tais throughout the course. Try your luck at the hole-in-one hole, where a lucky shot could have you driving off in a brand new Mercedes. FATHER'S DAY FEAST AND FEST
This year on Father's Day (it's Sunday, June 19 in case you forgot!), give Dad a break from slaving over a hot barbecue and bring him to Tony P's where we'll do the barbecuing for him. Dad can kick back with something off Tony's new Smokehouse BBQ menu and you can treat him to his choice of some of the best beers around. This year, remember Dad with a feast and fest at Tony P's!

Wine Lovers Rejoice, Clayhouse Syrah is Here!

 Wine Lovers Rejoice, As part of its incredible new drink menu, Tony P's is proud to announce the addition of a very special wine: the 2003 Clayhouse Vineyard Syrah. Cultivated in Paso Robles, a region that has steadily gained notoriety for the Rhone varietals grown and produced there, Clayhouse's Syrah thrives in a warm climate and is supported by being planted in soil that is a fine sandy loam. The grapes were hand picked, sorted, crushed and pressed. The juice was fermented, then aged using a combination of 40% new French and American oak with the remaining portion in 60% used French oak barrels for 10 months. The wine was blended before bottling with 12% Petite Sirah and an additional 4% Zinfandel. The result is a Syrah consisting of rich currant, blackberry and cassis flavors. Enjoy a glass ($6.95) or a bottle ($27) of this great new wine today!

 BUDGET BREAKFAST!
There is no doubt that Tony P's is a lunch and dinner Superpower, but the reality is that we are quietly the area's No. 1 producer of great breakfasts at bargain prices. I am frankly tired of beating the drum about this issue. Those who visit Tony P's on the weekend are well aware that our breakfasts are the biggest and best around, and they come in well under budget.
To my friends who eat breakfast elsewhere, I encourage you to reconsider your breakfast politics and join the Tony P's party. Bad breakfasts at other restaurants can be overcome. After all, in the immortal words of F.D.R., "The only thing we have to fear is bad breakfast itself." |
| PICTURE-PERFECT REMODELING
Tony P's is in the midst of a complete remodeling effort that will include new colors and a whole new look for our dining room. We've always displayed some wonderful historic photos of Marina del Rey by local photographer Greg Wenger, who also took the shot at the right! We are proud to be showing off a whole new batch of Greg's incredible photos from the marina's first days to the present. So, the next time you stop by for a meal, take some extra time to look at all the photos and take a step back in time in the history of the world's largest manmade recreational boat harbor!
MAKE A DAY OF IT...
 Get ready for a fantastic Fourth of July... kick it off with the Westchester/ LAX–Marina del Rey Chamber of Commerce's annual parade complete with floats, marching bands, community service groups and even an elephant! The parade route starts in Westchester Park and follows along Loyola Boulevard to Loyola Marymount University. For more information, call the Chamber at (310) 645-5151. Enjoy the afternoon with a barbecue lunch in the back yard and then head to Tony P's to watch the spectacular Marina del Rey Fireworks Show from our heated patio! Fireworks are shot over the Marina's main channel at 9 p.m., but be sure to arrive early. This event is always jam packed! It's the one time we will accept reservations, so call now to make sure you're not left out!
