TONY P’S DAY AT DODGER STADIUM
Sure, you can catch the Men in Blue on the big screens at Tony P’s Tavern, but for the first 47 people who sign up, Tony P’s will make sure you get to see the Dodgers in action at Dodger Stadium as well.
On October 3, the Dodgers will take on their bitter rivals from Northern California, the San Francisco Giants in a 1 p.m. game that is sure to have playoff implications. Starting at 10:30 a.m., Tony P’s will begin serving a special breakfast buffet for Dodger fans. After you fill up on the best breakfast in town, hop on a bus and keep the party going all the way to Dodger Stadium. Tickets are $35 person and include buffet, bus transportation and one Dodger ticket per person.

| Dust Off Those Golf Clubs...
The California Restaurant Association’s Los Angeles Chapter will hold its annual golf tournament on August 26 at Malibu Country Club Southern California’s best kept golf secret. Enjoy a great tournament complete with Tony P’s Mai Tais and Miller beer throughout the course. Try your luck at the hole-in one hole, where a lucky shot could have you driving off in a brand new Mercedes. Tee-off is at noon, and golfers can participate for just $125 per person ($150 after August 1). To sign up, just ask Tony, and he’ll save your spot on the tee.

“Spanglish” Celebration...

SUMMER CONCERT SERIES HEATS UP
Get ready for another spectacular season of concerts in the park in Marina del Rey. The free concerts will begin Thursday, July 8 with a performance by the Marina del Rey Summer Symphony, conducted by Frank Fetta and featuring soloist 19-year-old Lindsay Deutsch. Fetta and the Symphony will also perform on the following dates: July 22, August 5, August 19 (with piano soloist Xin Xin) and August 28 (with jazz great Diane Schuur. Additional concerts will include jazz singing star Rene Marie and her trio (July 17); Judy Collins (July 31); and A Tribute to Henry Mancini by the Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra. (August 7). MAKE A DAY OF IT...
Before or after taking in a concert in the park, be sure to stop by Tony P’s for dinner. Ride the Marina Coastlink, the county’s water taxi service, to and from Burton Chace Park with a convenient stop at “Waterfront Walk East.” The ride is just $2, and the Shuttle will run under a special timetable on concert nights: Classical Thursdays, the Water Shuttle will run especially for concertgoers between the hours of 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. On Pop Saturdays, the Shuttle will run between 11 a.m. and midnight. From the “Waterfront Walk East” stop, it’s just a few feet to Tony P’s. So, order your food to go and enjoy it in the park or stop by before or after the concert to enjoy a great meal.
